Terms & Community Guidelines
By creating an account or posting on Confessions Wall, you agree to these Terms and Community Guidelines. The service is operated by C401 Studios and is available only to people aged 18 or older.
Be anonymous, not cruel
You may share personal thoughts and experiences. You may not post, encourage or facilitate:
- harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation or targeted humiliation;
- hate speech or attacks based on protected characteristics;
- sexual content, sexual exploitation, or any content involving minors;
- self-harm encouragement, graphic violence or credible threats;
- another person's name, email, phone number, address, workplace details or other private identifying information;
- impersonation, scams, spam, advertising, illegal activity or attempts to evade moderation.
Moderation
Posts are checked automatically and may be rejected. Users can report content and block authors in the app. Reports enter a restricted review queue; posts may be hidden automatically and accounts may be paused or removed. We may preserve limited information where necessary to investigate a safety issue or comply with law. Moderation systems can make mistakes; contact us to appeal an account action.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, display, moderate and delete it only as needed to operate Confessions Wall. Confessions are designed to expire after 24 hours. Do not rely on expiry to undo disclosure: other users may capture what they see.
Accounts
Use an email address you control and do not share sign-in links. You may delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate accounts that breach these rules, threaten safety, abuse the service or create legal risk.
Service availability
We provide Confessions Wall on an "as available" basis. We may change, interrupt or discontinue features, and we do not promise that every harmful post will be identified immediately. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
